Los Angeles

Nous avons passé une belle semaine a Los Angeles avec des températures entre 25°C et 30°C. On se rend sur le boulevard Hollywood pour prendre un tour de ville en autobus Hop On Hop Off. On visite plusieurs endroits comme Beverly Hills, Sunset Boul., le centre-ville, Little Tokyo, Chinatown, et Korea Village. Au loin, on peut voir la grosse enseigne de Hollywood. Nous allons visiter le musée de cire de Madam Tussauds, ou les figures sont très bien faites. On a marche sur le Hollywood Boul., ou se trouve le Walk of Fame. Sur le trottoir de cette rue se trouvent 2500 étoiles avec le nom de chanteurs, acteurs, et artistes connues.

On a passé une journée pour visiter la ville de Santa Monica et Venice, des villes sur la bord de la mer avec des grandes plages. On a marché sur un long quai avec des manèges et des kiosques. C'est la que se termine la fameuse route 66.

On se rend pour visiter le studio de Paramount et Warner Brothers. On y voit des vues extérieures des studios, avec des fausses façades qui représentent New York, Boston et Chicago. A Paramount, on voit un stationnement qui se convertit en immense piscine qui a été utilise dans Star Trek, Titanic et plusieurs autres qui demandaient un grand cours d'eau. Il y a aussi une immense mur peinture comme le ciel pour être utilise comme arrière-plan dans les films. A Warner Bros., on entre dans le studio de la nouvelle émission "Stocker". Nous allons visiter le département des accessoires et aussi où ils construisent les meubles et les façades de ville. On voit une exposition des films de Harry Potter et de Batman ainsi que les véhicules de Batman.

Une autre journée, on part pour visiter la ville de Malibu et ses longues plages sur l'océan Pacifique. On s'assoit sur la plage et on a vs dans l'océan pour jouer avec les vagues. On circule sur la route #1 " Pacific Coast Highway". Quelles belle journée et belle semaine.

We spent a lovely week in Los Angeles with temperatures between 25°C and 30°C. We went on the Hollywood Boulevard to take a city bus tour Hop On Hop Off. We visited many places like Beverly Hills, Sunset Boulevard., Downtown LA, Little Tokyo, Chinatown, and Korea Village. In the distance, we can see the big sign of Hollywood. We also visited the wax museum Madam Tussauds, where the figures are very well done. We walked on the Hollywood Boul., where the Walk of Fame is located. On the sidewalk of the street are 2500 stars with the names of singers, actors, and well known artists.

We spent a day visiting the city of Santa Monica and Venice. They are cities by the sea with great beaches. We walked on a long pier with rides and kiosks. This is where the famous road 66 ends.

We went to visit the studios of Paramount and Warner Brothers. We saw exterior views of studios with false fronts that represent New York, Boston and Chicago. At Paramount, we saw a parking lot that converts into a huge pool that was used in Star Trek, Titanic and others who needed a large river. There is also a huge wall painting like the sky to be used as a background in the movies. At Warner Brothers, we entered the studio of the new show "Stocker". We also visited the prop department and where they build furniture and the false city walls. We saw an exhibition of the film Harry Potter and Batman with his vehicles.

On another day, we went to visit the city of Malibu and its long beaches on the Pacific Ocean. We sat on the beach and played with the waves. We drove on Highway # 1 "Pacific Coast Highway" for a long distance. What a beautiful day and a great week in LA.
